The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR Residential New Construction Program has been a national symbol of energy efficiency for more than two decades, with more than 2 million ENERGY STAR homes and apartments certified to-date. Typically, ENERGY STAR homes and apartments are at least 10% more energy efficient than those built to code and achieve a 20% improvement on average.
For #RESNET2022, our team is pleased to present important updates on key topics that raters and builders need to know about – including transitions to new ENERGY STAR program requirements, new resources for partners, and a new certification program for homes with efficient electric products and EV-charging.
